Wiki and Blog for MyCompany Toolbox

Wiki and Blog for MyCompany Toolbox
I just spoke with Mr. Frank Teklitz a loyal user of MyCompany Toolbox (MCT) (www.mycompanytoolbox.com) and was the original requester of the Case Support System. Frank was most helpful in the design and acceptance of the final Case Support System.

The reason for Frank's call is to find out if we are planning to add a Blog and a Wiki to the MCT. We do plan to add both of these features to the Toolbox and feel it could be done in Beta format by the end of March 2007. Both of these features are fairly simple to include in a single website, but we want to take the features to the next level by integrating the features into the Projects and Cases and this will take some time to do it right. As CIL is a development partner we plan to provide the new functionality to them in Beta format and roll out the finished version to our other clients as soon as the features are accepted and fully tested.

We are currently testing a Blog that we like and it can be found on the TTC website, please give it a test run when you get a chance. Of course if you are reading this you will already be on the Blog site! There are several new Wikis out there and we started to do an evaluation mid-2006.

Bottom line is that Wikis and Blogs are important new Tools that all modern and forward thinking companies are starting to bring into their mainstream business process and we need to add the features as soon as we possibly can.

anonymous's Gravatar I have to agree with your comments about blogs as being important and a useful tool. If you can fit it into any of your products, I suggest you do. I took a trial run of MyCompany Toolbox, and it seems like an interesting tool, especially if you were to integrate in a blog into the Strategy Center. We have a few questions about the product and will be in contact with you shortly.

Look forward to talking.

Tom West's Gravatar Thank you for your interest. We are trying to include as many Web 2.0 features to our Toolbox as we possibly can.
As Don Tapscott would say, this isn't your Dad's internet anymore.
